a New York based actor and writer. He was born in Australia and grew up where it was a quiet enough to hear the kangaroos munching the grass outside the window at night. At 17, he moved to Sydney where he studied and worked as an actor for over a decade.

In 1998, he moved to New York to enroll at NYU and there he met his wife and collaborator, Korean composer, SoHee Youn. Together, they've created several musical theatre works produced both in New York and Australia.

As well as acting and writing, Jamie has performed standup at clubs in New York city and with Laughing Liberally across the country. He and SoHee currently live in Hell's Kitchen, right next door to Lucifer's toaster.

 
Jamie will be playing the title role in Sweeney Todd at the Gateway Playhouse in Bellport, NY from August 24th till Sept. 11th.

He will also be appearing in the new musical, "The Brain that Wouldn't Die" as part of the NYMF festival in New York city from late September.

Jamie is currently performing in Laughing Liberally: This Ain't No Tea Party! in New York city. Performances Thursday nights at 8pm at 'HA' Comedy club. Songs include 'Guns Don't Kill People' and "Don't Tread On Me', Music by SoHee Youn and Lyrics by Jamie.

He is working with SoHee on a new full-length musical of which they'll have a reading late this year.

Jamie has been directing short plays in the aMios Theatre Company's Shotz season this summer.
